"A question most parents struggle with early on is the question of child care. When my husband and I were faced with this decision as our daughter approached her first birthday and I needed to return to work, the process of finding a preschool felt daunting and overwhelming. We wanted the time our daughter spent away from us to be spent in an environment that was supportive, affirming and challenging. We didn’t want a daycare; we wanted a school. We visited many programs in Albuquerque, and I left each one feeling disappointed and wondering if I should just quit my job and stay home with my daughter. Then we discovered Montessori ONE Preschool Academy. When you observe a classroom at Montessori One, you observe a unique child-centered environment. You see a collaborative partnership between the expertise of the child and the guidance of the teacher, passionate educators who have an understanding of every child’s individual development and who have done so much to foster our girls’ growing independence and potential. Then you are captivated by the director, Tina Patel, and her obvious passion for children, for education, and for using design and environment to enhance the "Prepared Environment" which is a cornerstone of the Montessori approach to education. If you happen to come by for a tour at the right time, you may even catch a glimpse of the preschool yoga class!"

"Hands down, the best Preschool in the Q! All 3 of my daughters attend Montessori ONE. One of my daughter's has a developmental delay, which the wonderful staff at Montessori ONE helped us identify. They worked to help compliment the Child Find public school program she was enrolled in, but more importantly, truly worked to understand how to help her excel. Mrs. Sarita truly changed our daughter's life with her nurturing and caring approach. Our twins will graduate kindergarten this year knowing multiplication, division, fractions, cursive handwriting, all their continents, I could go on and on! But it's not all about academics at Montessori ONE - the difference in this school is they teach kindness and respect in a nurturing environment. And the kids have FUN while learning. You really need to take a tour and see for yourself – you’ll be amazed at what you see the kiddo’s doing."

"My child currently attends the school and is scheduled to graduate this year. The academic levels are extremely high and I have to say that my child has progressed very well. Whilst I am sure all teachers offer the same level of education and teachings, I have to limit my comments to Ms. Sarita. She is perhaps the finest teacher I have ever met, and the students in her class reflect that. My child has been in her class for over 3 years and I have to say that "amazing" as a word does not do justice to how great she is."

"Montessori ONE is a fantastic place for children to grow. My wife and I had no idea of the intricacies of the Montessori Method and have been absolutely thrilled by the progress that our children have made under the care of Tina Patel, Director, and her staff. My children have learned everything from life skills, such as cleaning and preparing food to the fundamentals of the sciences and arts. I have recommended this establishment to a number of my friends and colleagues as I am confident that when my children graduate, they will be prepared for the challenges that lie ahead."
