"My wife and I enrolled our three year old son in the program at Montessori ONE halfway through the academic year, depressed and discouraged by his experience in another school where he had suffered for want of stimulation, for want of the nurturing structure of a genuine Montessori program. In less than a week at Montessori ONE we had our old boy back -- and more, much more! He was talking and singing and teaching us yoga. He was excited about school again, eager each day to reunite with his teachers and classmates. "A question most parents struggle with early on is the question of child care. When my husband and I were faced with this decision as our daughter approached her first birthday and I needed to return to work, the process of finding a preschool felt daunting and overwhelming. We wanted the time our daughter spent away from us to be spent in an environment that was supportive, affirming and challenging. We didn’t want a daycare; we wanted a school. Montessori One has created a very meaningful, high-quality distance learning program. During this Covid-19 pandemic, for our family, in-person classroom learning is not an option. As my grandson begins his 4th grade studies, I am particularly pleased with his teacher and the great degree of enthusiasm and focus on learning that she brings to class each day. It is very gratifying to watch as all the on-line students gather each morning and prepare to work—they are challenged to their fullest abilities. I know this year will be very successful for my grandson because he is so eager to join the class every day and begin to master the curriculum. Thank you for assuring that he will continue to flourish and grow through your very innovative distance learning program.

"I could not be happier with the professionalism, nurturing atmosphere and flexibility of both the staff and the director of this school. I also completely disagree with another reviewer who states that children are pushed academically at this school. I have two older children and anyone who knows about child development can tell you that children are naturally curious and can grasp many concepts (such as division) a lot earlier than most traditional schools will have you believe. In conclusion, I feel very comfortable with this school and appreciate the information I was given."
