Montessori ONE Academy is the only AMI-recognized (Association Montessori International/USA), authentic Montessori preschool and elementary school in Albuquerque. Children at Montessori ONE Academy are encouraged to explore, investigate and fulfill their natural curiosity about the world around them. "Hands down, the best Preschool in the Q! All 3 of my daughters attend Montessori ONE. One of my daughter's has a developmental delay, which the wonderful staff at Montessori ONE helped us identify. They worked to help compliment the Child Find public school program she was enrolled in, but more importantly, truly worked to understand how to help her excel. Mrs. Sarita truly changed our daughter's life with her nurturing and caring approach. Our twins will graduate kindergarten this year knowing multiplication, division, fractions, cursive handwriting, all their continents, I could go on and on! "Montessori is not for everyone. But if you are looking for an exceptional education for your child Montessori ONE is the place to be. The staff is held to high standards, with great educational backgrounds, and the director, Tina Patel, works hard at covering every aspect of running a school. The school is based upon work, but during the summers the school offers cultural experiences that most children this age are not exposed to. It is an AMAZING school if you are looking for an academic environment for your child and to prepare them for their many years in school. Research says that this age is the most significant for children, and that they are like sponges at this young of an age."
