Montessori ONE Academy is the only AMI-recognized (Association Montessori International/USA), authentic Montessori preschool and elementary school in Albuquerque. "Montessori is not for everyone. But if you are looking for an exceptional education for your child Montessori ONE is the place to be. The staff is held to high standards, with great educational backgrounds, and the director, Tina Patel, works hard at covering every aspect of running a school. The school is based upon work, but during the summers the school offers cultural experiences that most children this age are not exposed to. It is an AMAZING school if you are looking for an academic environment for your child and to prepare them for their many years in school. Research says that this age is the most significant for children, and that they are like sponges at this young of an age."

"I could not be happier with the professionalism, nurturing atmosphere and flexibility of both the staff and the director of this school. I also completely disagree with another reviewer who states that children are pushed academically at this school. I have two older children and anyone who knows about child development can tell you that children are naturally curious and can grasp many concepts (such as division) a lot earlier than most traditional schools will have you believe. In conclusion, I feel very comfortable with this school and appreciate the information I was given."

"I wanted to send you a note of appreciation for the opportunity to learn about the "how and why" behind what Ms. Jodi is doing in her classroom. She has always been helpful with ideas and advice to help me communicate better with Riley when I've expressed challenges we've faced. We've incorporated a lot of the classroom routine into our home life in an effort to make Riley's world consistent and give her the same opportunities for independence and learning at home as she has at school.
